Responsibilities:
Greets customer on sales floor and performs a needs analysis including make, type, and features of vehicle desired.  
Explains features and demonstrates operation of vehicle in showroom or on road.  
Researches availability of models and optional equipment using computer database.  
Works with Sales and F&I Managers and negotiates sales price, including tax, trade-in allowance, license fee, and discount, and requirements for financing or lease payment of vehicle.  
Walks the lot and visually inspects inventory.  
Completes all paperwork and arranges for delivery and registration of vehicle.  
Delivers and familiarizes the customer with vehicle.  
Attends/completes required training and department meetings.  
Regular and predictable attendance.

One year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Sales skills, great communication, and excellent customer service skills are a must.
Organization and thorough follow-up skills are necessary for staying in touch with the client prior to and after the sale.
Current valid driver’s license is required for all employees.
Mathematical skills including, add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Detail/Lot Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of company and or customer vehicles.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Wash and Wax vehicles (cars and trucks) in a timely manner as determined by managers requests.

• Be sure all keys to vehicles are tagged and descriptions match the vehicles.

They will use hand and power tools.

The Technician will be required to wear a dealership uniform at all times.

On-Call Dealership Driver (Part-Time):

With the "Busy Season" for vehicle sales here, the Don Wood Automotive Family of Dealerships is looking for reliable, temporary employees to add to our pool of available drivers. The primary function of this position will be transporting company vehicles to and from various automotive auctions and/or dealerships. This team will frequently make out-of-state pick-ups and drop-offs to many of Ohio's bordering states.

Responsibilities:

  • Drivers will take direction from their manager, who is responsible for coordinating the pickup and delivery of all vehicles.
  • Daily objectives will be announced to drivers as soon as they are known, typically one day in advance.

  • Drivers may not work more than 32 hours per payroll week (Sunday-Saturday) and are considered part time.
