Position Summary

The Express Technician is responsible for performing lube, oil, filter, and multi-point vehicle services. This role offers an excellent opportunity to advance toward becoming a certified Toyota Technician through ongoing training and hands-on experience.

Primary Duties

  • Perform oil changes, lubrication, filter replacements, and multi-point inspections on customer vehicles.
  • Assess and identify any additional vehicle service needs and communicate findings clearly.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and ensure all services meet company and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Keep vehicles clean during servicing and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Comply with all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations.
  • Deliver prompt, courteous, and professional customer service to ensure high satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and a positive attitude at all times.
  • Adhere to company policies and safety procedures to promote a safe workplace.
  • Support other job duties as assigned by management.

Work Environment

This position is based in a shop setting where the technician will be exposed to various weather conditions as well as typical shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, chemicals, and adhesives.

Job Requirements:

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is recommended but not required.
  • Valid driver's license and motor vehicle record that meets company policy.
  • Local or state inspection license is preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform work in a shop environment with exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals.
  • Capability to lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, and use hands for operating tools and equipment.
  • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • Required vision includes close, distance, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must operate equipment and move vehicles safely at all times.
